A Day in Your Life as an Au Pair
Here's what a typical day might look like
Help kids get ready for school - breakfast, getting dressed, and lots of smiles!
Kids are at school! Time for your English class, gym, meeting friends, or exploring the city.
Pick up kids, help with homework, play games, or take them to activities.
Join the family for dinner, share stories about your day, practice English naturally.
Free to relax, video chat with home, go out with friends, or join family movie night!
Every family is different - some need morning help, others need afternoons. You'll work up to 45 hours/week with a schedule that works for everyone!

How much does it cost?
Program fees vary by country, but most costs are covered by your host family. You'll mainly need money for your visa, flights, and personal spending.
Can I choose my family?
Yes! You'll interview with several families and only match when both you and the family feel it's the right fit.
What if I get homesick?
It's normal! You'll have a support network of other au pairs, monthly meetings, and I'm always here to help you adjust.
Can I extend my stay?
Yes! You can extend for 6, 9, or 12 more months with the same or a new family.
